I won't be going, but don't have a problem with American sport, sorry sports, being played in the UK. I know there will be NFL at Tottenham. But I think the London Stadium would be better for it. Might be too big a ground for baseball, but might be OK if the crowd isn't too big.

Ill give any sport a fair crack of the whip watching it live, but fuck me it's dull. Went to a yankees game in the last season of their old stadium, so 2008 i think. Left after 7 innings and was back in my hotel to watch the end.

One of those sports for fat cunts who couldn't play anything else. Makes basketball look interesting.

Baseballs used to be softer.

But that was in the days when you could get the batsman (or whatever's baseballese for "batsman") out by hitting him with a thrown ball as he ran between bases.

That makes sense I was thinking of it trying to be a dual purpose venue like we have had here with baseball and multiple sports at times. I guess they can just cut out the grass and replace when finished at the OS. Had no idea it was part artificial. Curious to see how it goes over with the fans. Baeball can be very slow, but on the bright side you have tons of time to get a pint/beer.

I would think it is a piss of piece to work around the infield dirt issue.

If you can have drop in cricket wickets in multi sport stadia nowadays I can't see a baseball pitch being that difficult.

London Stadium has a Grassmaster pitch(semi grass / artificial fibre), they could probably just dump the shit on top of it.

A cricket ball is harder than a baseball.

Fielders stand far closer to the bat in cricket.

Why the fuck do all the fielders in baseball need gloves?

Are they just SHIT at catching a ball? Or a bit fucking scared? Or both?

Not knocking baseball, it's probably OK as a sport and surely must have exciting high tension moments but gloves are for wicketkeepers and for CUNTS WHO CAN'T CATCH

Only ever seen one game which was last year when we watched the Houston Astros. Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it, much to my surprise, not just the occasion but the actual sport itself. I even bought a foam Astro's hand for the occasion.
